Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Both The Lawyer and The Nurse have children with additional needs, and have had to fight in their personal and professional lives with chasing diagnoses, identifying needs to assist development, and using their advocacy within (and outside) school settings to build children's confidence. We want to help anyone fighting for funding and educational assistance at any point in the process - if they have no clue where to start or are already engaged in a battle for appropriate support - as we understand getting heard and securing the right aid can be incredibly difficult.
