Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)

A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) allows someone you trust to make decisions on your behalf if you become unable to.
Without one, even your closest family members won’t have the legal right to manage your finances or make healthcare decisions for you.
Many people put off setting up an LPA, thinking they’ll never need it—until they do. Solicitors charge over £1,000, but our affordable workshop (£65) ensures you can complete your LPA properly, with expert legal guidance, at a fraction of the cost.

More Detail
What Is an LPA?
A Lasting Power of Attorney is a legal document that gives someone the authority to make decisions for you if you lose mental capacity due to illness, injury, or age-related conditions.
There are two types of LPA:
Health & Welfare LPA – Covers medical care, living arrangements, and daily decisions.
Property & Financial LPA – Covers managing bank accounts, paying bills, and handling assets.
You can set up one or both, depending on your needs.
Why You Need an LPA
Without an LPA, your family can’t automatically make decisions for you. Even a spouse or child would have to go through a long, expensive legal process to gain control.
